Philadephia Grand Jury “The Good News” Comments
A couple of rad videos landed at the gblk desk this week, and they are both too good to not share. First, the new Philly Jays diddy “The Good News” which is more like a Where’s Wally/Waldo game, and a brilliant video by Land of Talk and WeWereMonkeys.

WeWereMonkeys is a Canadian production company specialising in music videos, utilising mind-blowing animation and illustrations. They’re on to a real winner here with Land of Talk’s It’s Okay.

The first person we thought of after listening to ‘It’s Okay’ was Antiope, queen of the Amazons. We saw her as the last of her tribe, riding her horse in slow motion through a lonely, dreamlike landscape. We saw her heading towards an inevitable end; jumping off a precipice and disintegrating into an abstract form.
